February 2007 EDR HELPS GE LIGHTING AND WAL-MART GO GREENEDR and these two retailing giants are working together to help consumers conserve energy. We collaborated with merchandising and technology teams from both companies to design and create the content for an interactive kiosk that lets consumers quickly find the right bulb – for their room or for a specific fixture. At the same time it suggests energy-smart alternatives that can improve their quality of light, save money, and protect the environment. The easy-to-use interactive display, located on the shelf in the lighting department, will be tested in 100 Wal-Mart stores. [back] |
